BLACK GIRL / WHITE GIRL aka Karin & Ty, are a duo on the rise. In their ten years of experience, they have defined a new sound oscillating between classic 90s techno, jackin' Chicago acid, and hypnotic, ass-shaking machine funk.
The pair has been on a roll recently, releasing a string of highly sought-after cuts on SYMBOLISM, Super Rhythm Trax, and Balkan Vinyl, while picking up support from techno titans such as Ben Sims, Josh Wink, Truncate, Ben Klock, Luke Slater, Noncompliant, and Len Faki.
On the dancefloor, their masterfully crafted mix of techno meets acid, breaks, and rave morphs into the energetic peak-time force that has come to define the BLACK GIRL / WHITE GIRL sound. Their sets are fast-paced and muscular, transporting us to the golden era of techno while also moving us firmly into the future, showcasing their appreciation for the past while creating something new altogether.

Anthony is a longtime employee of Halcyon, friend of Levon Vincent and partner in Deconstruct Music. He is a prominent figure within the underground House and Techno resurgence of NYC, known for the deepest sounds of those genres and for gracing multiple dance-floors home and abroad from Shelter to Berghain. Anthony has had a breakout year in 2012 with his track "TYSON" featured on the highly acclaimed Fabric 63, mixed by Levon Vincent. He also launched his new label The Corner with the release COR-01 "Tri-State" by Dj Qu & Nor'Easter, which sold out worldwide. Just recently he released COR-02 "Atlantic Ave" by Anthony Parasole & Phil Moffa to highly critically acclaimed reviews on multiple online magazines. Inez Akker inherited her love for Techno from her dad at a very early age. After being absolutely passionate about Electronic Music since she was 5, she started mixing tracks and creating her own DJ sets, inspired by very close friends who got her into the industry.
In a very short time, her style has got her to share line-ups with Dimi (AnD), Olivier Weiter, Cliff de Zoete, Alex Mart and Gabo Lora, among many others, in H7 Warehouse (Amsterdam), PIP and Het Magazijn (The Hague). She has also started her own Techno show at Beats2Dance radio.
She has a special taste for hard beat Dark Techno – a musical genre she uses to express her deepest feelings, thoughts and impulses. Under her motto "The world needs more Techno", her mixes are noticed by a strong drive that tells the story of each DJ Set.
Having embarked in an artistic journey that started right from her soul, she expects to have as many travel companions as possible, in whom she wishes to find alike minds and hearts who share the same passion for Electronic Music in all its forms.
