✨🌊 If paradise had a soundtrack, it would sound like Bucht. 🌊✨ Last Thursday we had the honor of playing the beautiful Bucht der Träumer Festival on the Strandflitzer Floor and wow, the floor was more than packed. The energy was out of this world and we had the time of our lives while seeing all this happy faces. On the top we handed out 100 glow-in-the-dark mini sea animals, which made the whole crowd sparkle even more. 🐢🐠🐡🐙

Of course, we stayed with our crew until Monday to soak up every last bit of magic. Compared to our last set here two years ago, the festival went all-in this time. The stage design, the little details, the surprises… everything stepped up another level. 😍

Bucht is always 12/10 and forever in our hearts. It’s pure love and pure dreamland. 🥳

And the best part: the beautiful artwork comes by Rive (https://www.instagram.com/rive.arte/). Here are his super sweet words:
I still can’t believe this was my very first festival & the very first set of the weekend 🥹💛 Thank you Bucht!!!! For me last wknd felt like this magical ride above the clouds, lifting me far away from society, from problems, from everything down here and carrying me into a different world where I could just breathe free!! ✨
That’s why I drew this scene for the amazing Bizarro Universe, where both of them are floating on a little cloud-creature, rolling free on its roller skate shoes 🛼  just like the floor they played at. Pure freedom, pure magic 🌥💫 Enjooooooy!!!

Eingeladen wurde zu einer Reise zum Träumen, Sein, Lauschen und entspannt den Wandel der Lichter der Nacht ins Morgengrauen zu genießen.

After 21 years of DJing, I played at my friends’ wedding for the very first time. The night before, I asked the groom what kind of tracks they liked. He just said, “Didn’t you see the Telegram group with the wedding playlists as inspiration?” I hadn’t. My week was so fully packed but when I finally checked, I found the group buried between ominous Berlin afterhour chats — and was stunned to see that the bride and groom had carefully prepared 80 danceable tracks for us DJs.

So I started building my set around their selection. There was plenty of overlap with my own library, especially with a lot of classics from the time of the rising of Berlin's electronic music scene.  I bought a few songs I didn’t have already, and then added another 100 from my collection. While preparing, I got goosebumps. The love in that music reminded me exactly why I became a DJ in the first place: to share songs with friends and craft compilations meant especially for one person — or, in this case, two.

The wedding itself was so beautiful I could have cried. And I did. Right after the very first transition, when I looked up and saw the couple dancing together deeply in love in the front row. From then on it was pure bliss — everyone swept up inside the warm bubble of love’s magic.
