Planet Rhythm is the longstanding Rotterdam label that was founded in the early 1990s, and is still going strong after releasing music by a number of well-known musicians, including Bas Mooy, Sleeparchive, Oscar Mulero, TWR72, Adam Beyer, Woo York, and many more.

Belgium is the home of FAÏG, and the upcoming talent returns to Planet Rhythm for his 'New Chapter' EP, which follows production appearances on Arnaud Le Texier's Children of Tomorrow, Kaiser's K S R, Ricardo Garduno's Illegal Alien, and Coyu's Suara.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "Wandering Soul" that's a percussive workout. The punchy raw groove has throbbing bassline and undulating modular tones for a mechanical and mystical ride of classic style.

The inspiration for Skydivers came from a deep need to express freedom, both emotionally and
creatively.

Organic textures, instrumental elements, and striking melodic moments run through the heart of this release. With a deep sense of musicality and groove, Skydivers blends drive and emotions in equal measure, bridging raw club energy with a more introspective rhythmic feeling. It’s a deeper release!

During the process, I found myself drawn to more organic elements! Instruments, textured layers, and subtle melodies that could live within the structure of techno but also stretch beyond it. I wanted every track to feel alive, to breathe, to carry a human touch beneath the rhythm.

Skydivers became a personal journey. Not just a release, but a snapshot of a period where I explored new sounds without overthinking, allowing instinct to guide me.

I didn’t want to follow a strict formula, I wanted to stay honest to what felt right, even if it wasn’t “safe.”

Each track is a part of that story.

Laster Records launches with a powerful VA featuring Alarico, Yanamaste, Chontane and Roll Dann Spanish's techno movement force Laster expands its vision with the launch of Laster Records, inaugurating the label with a fierce various artists EP forged for peak-time madness and emotional depth. The debut release, Laster Records VA001, brings together four essential voices in modern techno: Alarico, Yanamaste, Chontane and Roll Dann, each contributing a distinctive cut to a shared narrative of intensity and evolution. The A-side opens with Alarico’s “Of Which Sugars”, a gritty, percussive storm of fast-paced techno, where tension builds through syncopated rhythms and distorted grooves. Following is Yanamaste’s “Disconnection”, a cerebral track infused with cold atmospheres, broken patterns and a sense of controlled chaos — reflecting the Georgian artist’s unmistakable mental approach. On the flip, Chontane delivers “Palindrome”, a futuristic and dynamic tool with flickering synth stabs and machine funk energy. The EP closes with Roll Dann’s “The Red House”, a cinematic and melancholic trip through layered textures and deep basslines, paying homage to the label’s own mythology. His sound blends classic 4/4 rhythms with a hypnotic touch, creating dynamic sets rich in texture. Over the years, he had the opportunity to play with artists like Nur Jaber, Tarkno, Steve RedHead, future.666, Fran LF, Lacchesi, Vel, ROMMEK, SORAÄ. He has showcased his music in clubs like Smolna, Crackhouse, Ciało, Transformator, STK-47 and more. 

Tekknik:

DJ, producer, recording engineer, co-founder of Synapsa label. He began his adventure with music in 2015, during which he had the opportunity to play at such venues as Las Festival, Crackhouse, Ciało, Drugi Dom, Transformator, Wyspa Tamka, Cel, Schron and Techno Balkon. He is a graduate of the School of Modern Music in Wroclaw. He has worked with brands such as Underzone and Nektar Records, Obscuur, MOTZ, Märked and Transition. He had the opportunity to play with Vladimir Dubyshkin, Tarkno, TRYM, Clara Cuvé, Lacchesi, Vel, future.666, Sept, Steve RedHead, Eargasm God, Parfait, Janina, Handmade, Bloody Mary and many more. For him, music is a forum for expressing emotions, which means he doesn't like to lock himself within one genre. Although the dystopian rhythms are closest to his heart, he likes to experiment by combining different styles.
