When I sent this record to my mastering engineer ( TKR Mastering based in Brighton - find on Facebook; ) 

I described this as a paint by numbers Tech House Tune. Which as I write this it feels like I am selling it a bit short, I am not.
It is simply a very simple tech house set starter. There are the key elements that make up a tech house record: solid kick, rumble bass, hissing tops, awesome soulful female vocal ( Selena Evangline again,) stabby piano riff, 808 claps, big build up massive drop and easy to mix out of you are a DJ. 

Now when you look at it like that why not celebrate simplicity and just make a record that delivers the basics very well. 
That is why Little Trip is a paint by numbers tech house record that delivers on the most important fundamentals.  It’s not ground breaking or cool and edgy it’s Simple.... a bit like it’s maker :-)
