I wrote this song on the piano while we were having
so much cold and rain in Northern California .. I guess
it was my attempt to make things feel a bit brighter
and warmer. Ed, Charley and Phil Cody really helped
simplify the melody. I had some wonderful help.

My friends (Ed McGlaughlin on bass) and (Charlie Langer on Sax) did a a wonderful job on filling out my scribble composition.

The most important thing is how it feels and this feels good to me.

This Time Won't Be This Time

Given how poorly the rollout of Meta's "Metaverse" went, I figure
a corporate blunder on the scale of "New Coke" needed a song.
I have no interest in the Metaverse .. I prefer the carbon
over silicon.

Plus I believe the uvula is the next biometric. 
Remember HAL lip-reading? The optics are much 
better.

Time Stood Still

In May 2017, I was scheduled to cover as presenter of the drive time show on BBC Radio Norfolk on the late May Bank Holiday. As it was a Bank Holiday I could do pretty much whatever I wanted, so I arranged to record an interview with Justin Currie, singer and songwriter with my favourite group Del Amitri - his fourth solo album had just been released, and he was about to embark on the accompanying tour. Justin was very generous with his time and gave a very interesting interview, which I hope that fellow Del Amitri fans will enjoy.

The interview was recorded down-the-line from the BBC in Glasgow on May the 25th, and broadcast at 4pm on Monday the 29th of May on BBC Radio Norfolk.
