The Burchfield-Vituri Quartet is a project by Boston based musicians Tyler Burchfield and Pedro Vituri. With original compositions and arrangements of both Brazilian and American standards, they strive to have an original sound with a wide range of influences, from traditional and modern Brazilian music, to modern classical, passing through jazz, R&B and rock. The group has a mixture of straight-ahead material and free improvisation, going for a modern sound while paying homage to various traditions. 

Other than that, Tyler Burchfield and Pedro Vituri have duo works with brazilian and american tunes, both originals and standards.
