by Bureau B. This second project offers a sublime exploration into their signature expressionistic landscapes while exploring the potential of a collaborative model in which Schnauss’s keyboards and Peters’s guitar work together in juxtaposition. Release date October 25th 2013

Mutable Ground is an album created through an exchange of recordings between Anna and Yannis. The project is rooted in the idea of sudden shifts in current events and the ever-growing emotions tied to loss, change, and tension. Each track title is inspired by unstable phenomena and objects, reflecting the potential for unexpected movement and the transitions of both nature and humanity. Repetitive, chaotic drum patterns, vocals that echo sounds of wounded or lost animals, hollow soundscapes reveal a sonic world where creation and destruction coexist—where people dance around fires, caught between fragility and resilience.

BIO

Italian dj raised in the outskirts of Geneva, Pastram steps out under the banner of Cruel Machine Booking. Distinctly drawn towards dark atmospheres, Pastram developed a strong focus on raw rhythmics, assuming an intense form of communication where cathartic echoes and cold synths become intricate. An intense musical fusion of the past and the present transcending the line between body music, grinding post punk, industrial, and wave.

Featuring some previously released songs as well as songs from the double single "Golden Cheapos". "JaPlan" also includes rare instrumentals produced for their Tokyo shows … and one of their most famous songs: "Gummitwist" … and the film music to "The Grottenolm" as bonus tracks. Special extra: "JaPlan" comes in a <b>new cover artwork</b> that sort of corrects an optical error in the band's discography. Reissued on CD, LP and as download. Out June 14, 2013
