Popul&auml;re Mechanik was a post-punk, jazz bastard project created by Wolfgang Seidel, friend and sometime musical partner of Conrad Schnitzler and founder member of Ton Steine Scherben. This collection has been curated by Holger Hiller, best known as vocalist for Palais Schaumburg. Hiller presents tracks from two cassette productions which Seidel released in the early 1980s. The booklet features an interview which Hiller conducted with Seidel in which they discussed the function of rock and pop music over the past 45 years. Out Feb 21, 2015, on CD/LP/DL

Machine Cult is an electronic music platform based in Amsterdam hosted by Déandrah and Garçon Taupe. On one side, it functions as a record label. On the other, an event series. The release party for Edition Two will be taking place in OT301 (Amsterdam) on the 6th of April, featuring DJ sets by VOLPEVOLPE, Böhm, Aroy Dee, Freek Fabricius, Fast Ram and Déandrah who will be behind visual duties.



"Originally part of a live set I worked on after releasing The White Spider EP on Gooiland Elektro. I played it first in Gifgrond, an awesome DIY concert venue in Tilburg. Enfant Terrible put together a great lineup of live sets from myself, TWINS and Staatseinde. And then DJ M. (Enfant Terrible) finished the evening by unexpectedly, completely unnecessarily beating the attendees senseless with goth techno. And we loved it."

Kulture Galerie presents the first tape release by The Jaffa Kid as part of the brand new Digital Artefacts series.

The series is an ode to the sound of the 90s, from Electro, IDM and Jungle to further different experimental stuff and sounds. The choice of tape as format seemed fitting for the aesthetic of the series.

The first EP comes from UK based The Jaffa Kid (previously on 030303, Dischi Nottetempo, Gated Recordings and more) and is a solid mixture of Electro, Techno and beyond.
