Mutable Ground is an album created through an exchange of recordings between Anna and Yannis. The project is rooted in the idea of sudden shifts in current events and the ever-growing emotions tied to loss, change, and tension. Each track title is inspired by unstable phenomena and objects, reflecting the potential for unexpected movement and the transitions of both nature and humanity. Repetitive, chaotic drum patterns, vocals that echo sounds of wounded or lost animals, hollow soundscapes reveal a sonic world where creation and destruction coexist—where people dance around fires, caught between fragility and resilience.

Feeling like a monochrome drift of processed resonance, the piece unfolds like a ghostly transmission filtered through decaying tape. Celestial resonances blur into low-end rumbles, choirs flicker beneath distant bells, drifting away memories of a past life. This is ambient music at its most human, like a slow dissolve into psychology's dimmest corners, where geography is no longer a place, but a feeling.

Billy Nasty's Electrix welcomes AXIOMATIZE, a newly formed collaboration between Orson Bramley and James Preston. Up first is the blistering electro-techno of 'Leviatron' with its corrugated drum patterns, snappy hits and computer circuitry in meltdown, all making for a dystopian vibe.'I Am Evil' (extended mix) is dark and broody with a mischievous low end prowling beneath the drums and talkbox vocals. Last of all is 'Turbo Specs', a crisp and bouncy electro cut with a nimble low end and meticulous drum designs that get you on your toes and keep you there. FMM: Dua Lipa - Be The One (With You. Remix)

As a basis for the third album by the Düsseldorf Kreidler drummer Thomas Klein THE STEAM AGE, an abandoned piano served as a sound source. Tapping, scratching, scraping, plucking: working with the wooden body and steel strings led to the building blocks of a broad sonic spectrum, which Klein then brushed against the grain with his sampler. All of these alienated patterns and sequences were then invited to dance to the typical Sølyst percussion groove, merging with him to form a hypnotically driving machine-funk. Out March 18, 2016
