Rated XTC is a love project showcasing work from some of our favorite artists across the globe who keep reinventing and redefining what Hard Dance music can be or sound like.
For us, opening space for a brand new hard queer generation in Lisbon has been quite the challenge in face of growing gentrification and antagonism to our vision from some corners of the scene. This music compilation, apart from being a way for us to share a piece of ourselves with the rest of the world, emerges as a fundraiser for our future events, productions and even music label affairs! We are eternally grateful to all of the artists have who contributed to this compilation.

Ariana aka waltur is an Antwerp-based gabber kick-loving DJ that manages Burenhinder, an all-female art and rave collective striving to give local female artists a platform. She champions the group's signature hardcore sound. Each set becomes a dynamic narrative, skillfully blending diverse genres, from the pulsating rhythms of baile funk to the mind-bending sounds of psytrance, and the nostalgic beats of 90s hardcore classics to the raw energy of the nastiest terror kicks.

We are very happy to announce our new WHISKAST series with our first guest who can be none other than the mom of the Belgian female only DJ collective Burenhinder Ariana aka Waltur (she/her).
Waltur is very well known for her surprising sets, the most variable selections and precise blending that she projects onto the dance floor. We are used to hearing the most destructive hardcore kicks from her, but lately Ariana has been seeking more club sounds, big bass and latin rhythms. 

She played at our unforgettable Indoor/outdoor gathering last year and we are happy to have her back as our podcast guest.

It's just completely whack, face it!

First single from producer and DJ KimberlaID's The Time Has Come EP - Sleepless is a double-edged track with an early hardcore epilogue and almost jumpstyle overtones. Guided by a candid voice and innocent-looking synths, the lightness of its introduction is a few bars
later supplanted and sublimated by Morpheus terrorcore wrenching the track from its slumber. Suddenly, the solitary voice becomes an epic choral chant, as if projected into the immensity of a dream disrupted by kicks.
