Love the vicals on all your tracks!  We have very differnt styles, but the soulfulness is very clear in your work!

Love those bird sounds ... they are real... who is your sax player?

Listening again to this... inspired by those birds to take out my flute and play along C BLUES... that was fun... I thought I heard an oboe in there too.

the rhythm of this was probably inspired by that thing we did as kids when you rode a brush around, pretending it was a horse..or was it just me?
i think the word for this beat is 'lolopping'  (i really don't get the chance to use that enough, hence i can't spell it)
finally got a baritone 'refrain' ....nice and comfortable to sing for once :-)
a hymn to sometimes accept the ebbs and flows of the mind
it's cabaret time for some reason
any blown instruments welcome !!
otherwise i'll have to buy another clarinet and play on this..probably quite badly :-)

Another track from the Penelope's Thrill album, "Twilight on Tunnel Road." This song is about the idyllic early life of Lonnie and Chloe, who grow up on adjacent farms on the edge of the Driftless Region in southern Wisconsin. Playing their guitars in an abandoned railroad tunnel for the natural reverb, cruising the eerily deserted streets of Wisconsin towns during a Packers game, fishing in the willow shade with a six-pack cooling in the stream....
