The anthemic rock song presents the band's sound in its most versatile form, including intense blues based riffing added with multi-part vocals. Transatlantic cooperation to the publication is brought by US based producer/sound engineer Jeffro Lackscheide, whose previous work includes clients such as rock legends Cheap Trick and solo projects from members of Queensrÿche and Kamelot.

The song's writer, singer/guitarist Juho Myllylä describes the song as follows: ”Let It Die Away has dynamics, groove, strong melodic aspects and organic flow. The pieces fell together naturally, and in my opinion the song epitomises the band's most prominent features from use of two lead singers to strong harmonies.”

Arttu Vauhkonen (Arion) makes a re-appearance as the guest keyboard player, as heard on the previous EP. In addition, the backing vocals are strenghtened by a female trio Adeola Ikuesan, Linnea Hildén and Pilvi Kekkonen. The song was recorded in Helsinki at Encrypt Studios by sound engineer Kai Markus Railanmaa, and mastered by Jussi Kraft at Sonic Pump Studios.

Burntfield is a melodic rock-band from Helsinki, Finland. In their music they combine elements of hard rock and blues-based rock, reaching for a vibrant and organic sound. By mixing vintage and modern and sharing the vocal and songwriting responsibilities, strong melodies and diverse compositions are born. Burntfield started in late 2012, and released their first EP Organic Waves, in November 2013.

Deal With It

Burntfield are a progressive alternative rock band, whose music is discreetly spiced with a taste of AOR and hard rock elements. Reliance on strong melodies and powerful harmonies form the basis of their versatile songwriting. By mixing vintage and modern they create unique musical atmospheres.

Burntfield was founded in 2012 by guitarist-singer Juho Myllylä in Helsinki. After a few line-up changes, the band have now found a new home in the beautiful city of Amsterdam.

In 2013, Burntfield’s debut EP Organic Waves was released, followed by the single release Let It Die Away in 2014 and the EP Cold Heat in 2015, which received numerous great reviews internationally. 2016 saw a tour of the Netherlands and furthermore the release of their newest single and music video My Grief.
