//Was bedeutet deine Musik für dich?//
Genau genommen ist es ja gar nicht meine Musik – und das macht das Auflegen und Diggen für mich so wahnsinnig spannend und schön. Durch Musik fühle ich mich mit Menschen verbunden, die ich noch nie getroffen habe. Musik zeigt etwas vom Inneren – zumindest ist das die Musik, die ich feier. Wenn eine Emotion musikalisch beschrieben werden kann oder Musik eine Emotion hervorruft, das ist einfach das Wunderbarste auf der ganzen Welt. Und ich versuche das beim Auflegen auch umzusetzen – die Tanzenden mitzunehmen in meine Welt, sie zu verführen, anzustiften zum Loslassen und ihnen vielleicht sogar die eine oder andere Träne in die Augen zu treiben. 

//Woher nimmst du deine Inspiration?((
Ich folge auf Bandcamp, Spotify und Beatport bestimmt über 1000 verschiedenen Artists und hunderten Labels und höre täglich neue Musik – manchmal viele Stunden lang. Vor Gigs durchwühle ich auch die Bibliothek meiner Lieblingslabels und ein paar Promos bekomme ich mittlerweile auch. Bei meinen Erkundungen lasse ich mich von einer Frage leiten: Catcht mich das, was ich höre, auf Anhieb oder nicht? Ansonsten lege ich auch super gerne mit anderen auf oder tanze zu ihren Sets – dann renne ich regelmäßig ans Pult und mache Fotos von den Tracks.

//Was muss sich deiner Meinung nach an der Szene ändern?//
In letzter Zeit habe ich mich vermehrt damit auseinandergesetzt, welche Rolle FLINTA* in den Bereichen Musikproduktion bzw. als Livemusiker*innen spielen. Dabei ist mir bewusst geworden, dass extrem vieles, was ich als DJ "konsumiere", von Cis-Dudes hergestellt wird. Es ist geile Musik, aber ich wünsche mir, dass viel mehr FLINTA* in der elektronischen Musikproduktion und in der Livemusik vertreten sind. Es gibt ein paar weibliche Producer, die haben so ein krasses Oeuvre, eine ganz eigene Stimme, einen eigenen Style – und ich will mehr davon. Ich nenne hier mal die Producer Marie W. Anders, Ela Minus, QRTR (beide im Mix zu finden), Shero, SUCHI, TOKiMONSTA, Octo Octa...
