A while ago, I was having a conversation with a friend of how I believed or expected that at some stage or point in my life, I’d have achieved more. I always believed in the process and also helped people to, but sometimes, people around us just overwhelm us by certain criteria’s we should have met and then we beat ourselves up for not meeting them. I know how hard things can be, especially if people expect that you always have things figured out, but instead of running away from the peace we really need, which is Jesus, I hope we run to it.
