Another week another installment of Hardcore Ch00nage! below is a letter I sent out when I posted this promo CD to people back in 2006 including a tracklist. Hope you enjoy!

Well guys,

It’s that time again!!!!

Another few months = Another Instalment of Hardcore Ch00nage.

I know I say this every single time but this volume (5) is the best volume to date. I keep surprising myself and im learning constantly new tricks and ways to make the mixes better. 

Thanks again to everyone that is a member and continues to listen in from Ahn.fm. I really love you guys there and it makes doing this fun and worthwhile. Without you guys being there and listening in to our small shows I don’t think I would still be doing it now. 
I guess sending out these cd’s is somewhat of a thankyou for sticking around and showing support for a long time. (This year and a half has gone damn quick).

Anyway this cd is pretty much a Raver Baby compilation. It showcases the new stuff mostly from the raver baby side of things, and I know that will make most of you out there happy to hear that! I have listened to it about 15 times over and im really pleased with how it turned out, so I hope you guys will to. 

Keep an eye on your mailboxes for Hardcore Ch00nage Vol.6 I am most of the way through it already believe it or not, and it should be coming your guy’s way soon.  Also I would always like to hear feedback from you guys and how to make future cd’s even better.

CAMO & FLUID SOUND MANIPULATION COMP MIX - STRAIGHT UP MULTI GENRE

The 'Lord Of Hardcore' and founder of Evolution Records, Scott Brown is one of the most important figures in the Scottish dance music scene. He was heavily involved in the rise of the hardcore techno sound from the early 1990's. His mixture of bouncy techno and gabba annihilated dancefloors across the country and influenced hardcore producers around Europe. Evolution Records is the UK's longest running and arguably the biggest ever hardcore label. It always has been incredibly popular througout the scene. The demand was so high around '94, Scott created many sublabels including Evolution Gold and specialising in the harder edged material were Twisted Vinyl and Screwdriver Records. He even released tracks on giant Dutch hardcore labels such as Dwarf & Babyboom Records, Paul Elstak's Forze Records and Bass-D & King Matthew's Inferno Records. He produced under many aliases as you can see from the tracklisting below. This mix is obviously influenced by one of my favourite ever sets, the 'Rezerection - Awakening of '95' mix and will be the first of 3 mixes devoted to his awesome back catalogue.
