SLEEPING DRAGON EP

The 3rd installment to the Turbo Shirizu series. This one is not much of an archive project since I made this fairly recent (around October 2020). It was actually a rework of an even older beat that I use to have somwhere in my Harddrive. (It was actually a chop I had). Just added some drums and broke out the Model D to layer the bassline along with some of my favorite go to softsynths. Anyways, I hope yall enjoy this one, let me know what ya'll think!

Ive had a bunch of Hip-Hop beats in the vault but this time I wanted to shed a bit on more of my "R&B/Soul" selections. The past couple of years i have been a bit more influenced by R&B and Non-Hip Hop Genres when it came down to my creation process. Anywho this is number 7 and I hope ya'll can enjoy it just as much as I have enjoyed in creating it!

Here's the 11th addition to the TURBO SHIRIZU series. This one goes back to 2017, this was one where i was bit more proud of my chopping . Let me know how ya'll feel about this one!

CRUISE CONTROL

The 12th Installation to the TURBO SHIRIZU project. I took another little pause but we're riding out till the end from here on ! Let me know what ya'll think!

TRANSMISSION

Number 14 out of 16. Here is a cut from late 2019. This one I took a bit of a different route that drew some inspo from UK Grime a bit as far as drum programming and a bit with the bassline. This was a fun one for sure. We're almost at the end of the series so that means I may just have to put up more recent work to give ya'll an idea of what the process looks like.

CARBON

Coming in at #15 of the 16 Part series, this is another gem from the vault which dates back to January of 2018. It is another "oldie" but held a lot of elements and approaches that I've adopted into modern projects that I have (Which I'm excited to put out , but in time)

SUPRA

There you have it, it's been a good run with this series, This marks #16 aka the last installment of the TURBO SHIRIZU series. This one dates to early this year (January to be exact). Overall, doing this series has definitely help me get over the habit of just keeping things to myself. It's a reminder that it's ok to just let your work exist beyond your own confines and that it's ok if things aren't "perfect" yet. Hell, you may end up inspiring someone else or maybe even peak someone's interest and if this series did either of those in any way then I am fulfilled! With that being said I'm gonna go back to the drawing board and refine my sound to work on getting a body of work out!
