クリスマスに突如、FREE DL という驚きのリリースとなった 10 年ぶりの 4th Album「Killa Killa Inside Me」。 かつて大阪で開催されていた「2 x 4 」からのベース・ミュージック in / out、さらに「惨劇の森」での基盤はポスト・コロナ を経てさらに勢い付き、各地各国まさに bounce to the ounce に飛び回り重ねるギグ。実験と回収、その中で新たに産まれ たルードな繋がりの結実。 素晴しいラッパーを見つける先見はこれまで証明済みであり、無二のヒップホップ・サイケデリクスとアシッド・グルーヴを 前面に、古くはマック・ドレーやブギーモンスターズなど一部ヒップホップに見られる極彩色を見極め抽出。さらにシカゴ UC のような異様なマシーナリー・サウンドの新旧エッセンスを注ぎ込み、派生したジューク / フットワークやジャージーク ラブはじめ、UK ベース / レイヴ以降のサウンドへもアクセス可能な、けれどマルチであるようで完璧に制御された特異点し かない小宇宙のようなものを形作っている。まさに「遊園地」というアルバム・テーマに沿ったアップリフティングな楽しさ。 美しくベンディング・カーヴを描きながら弾けるクリスタル、しかしピーキーに耳に届く強烈なインパクト。そんなサイケデ リック B-BOY からの笑顔しか出ない最高のクリスマス・プレゼント。

Bushmind’s long-awaited fourth album, Killa Killa Inside Me—his first in ten years—arrived suddenly on Christmas Day as a surprise FREE DL release.

Built through relentless gigs across cities and countries, truly bounce to the ounce, this album is the culmination of experimentation and retrieval—where trials are tested on the floor, absorbed, and reborn as new, raw connections. Bushmind’s proven foresight in discovering outstanding rappers once again shines here, front and center, alongside a one-of-a-kind fusion of hip-hop psychedelia and acid groove.

From the vivid, hyper-saturated colors found in certain strains of hip-hop—echoing artists like Mac Dre or the Boogiemonsters—the sound is carefully extracted and refined. To this, Bushmind injects both classic and contemporary essences of the strange, machine-driven sound associated with Chicago labels such as Underground Construction. The result opens pathways to juke/footwork, Jersey club, and beyond—reaching into post–UK bass and rave-derived sounds.

Despite its wide range, the album remains perfectly controlled. What emerges is a singular, self-contained microcosm: expansive yet precise, diverse yet unified. True to its central theme of an “amusement park,” the experience is uplifting, playful, and exhilarating.

Crystals burst and scatter while tracing beautifully bending curves, delivering sharp, peak-level impact straight to the ears. A psychedelic B-boy vision that leaves nothing but smiles—this is the ultimate Christmas present.
