As a business owner, you're bound to know what it feels like when fear comes knocking on your door. So often, I hear women talk about their dreams, but always putting them off 'until they're ready', until they have done x, y and z first, or until they feel 'confident'. The truth is, there'll never be the right time, and you'll always want to do something else before you feel ready to take a step. 

It's not possible to eliminate fear altogether, but we do have a choice about how we approach it. We can welcome the fear with kindness and compassion, hold space for it. We can get curious about it, too - what is it trying to show us?

41: Welcoming The Fear

Imposter syndrome is something that comes up for almost all of us, at some point in our life. For some, it’s a constant feeling we have to battle with, for others, it comes and goes. Either way, it’s a term that’s becoming more widely used, particularly when it comes to female entrepreneurship. 

I did a little bit of research, and one of the definitions for imposter syndrome, is this:

‘the inability to believe that one’s success is deserved or has been legitimately achieved as a result of one’s own efforts or skills’; as well as

‘a collection of feelings of inadequacy that persist despite evident success’.

Is Imposter Syndrome something you struggle with? In this episode, I explore a couple of ways in which we can deal with Imposter Syndrome, and raise our awareness of when it comes up.

So what is manifestation? It’s a term that’s been doing the rounds lately, and so I wanted to take the time to explore the idea of manifestation, what it is, and how we can make manifestation work for us.

To manifest something, is to make it appear, to bring it forward, or call it in.

43: Manifesting What you Desire

Cultivating an abundant mindset - abundant vs scarcity mindset and how we can practice to cultivate a more positive, abundant mindset in our businesses, and our lives

A mindset is our attitude towards something, and we can adopt an abundant mindset, or a scarcity mindset, depending on our upbringing and our environment, and the people we surround ourselves with. It’s no wonder that there’s a saying 

‘You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.’

Abundance mindset - believing that there is enough to go around

 Scarcity/lack mindset - the belief that there will never be enough, resulting in feelings of fear, stress, and anxiety. It’s believing that there’s only one pie to go around, and if someone has a slice, that means there’s less for you - your chances of even getting a slice are getting slimmer. 


How can we practice to cultivate a more positive, abundant mindset in our businesses, and our lives? In this episode, I explore ways in which we can bring more of an abundant mindset into our lives.
