Thank you for providing us with this 2h exclusive mix, recorded live at this year's Garbicz Festival. But that's not all, we have also implemented a brand new design for our mix series! Even though Moderna & Joyce Muniz should already be a household name to most, let me give you some details on who you're dealing with here: 

Moderna's style is described as a dark heady blend of Dark Disco, Electro, Acid and Techno with wrought darkened vocals that has become her signature distinction. With her unique blend, she has got a contribution on The Matrix 4 Soundtrack by Tom Tykwer on Warner Brothers Records and her discography also includes three EPs with Mexican-based artist Theus Mago. Now residing in Berlin, the Los Angeles transplant gained momentum in Europe while working on new productions, touring and focusing her energy on hybrid label and radio show ‘Brave New Rave’.

The metaphor of life as a journey is deeply embedded in most cultures. But it’s particularly apt for Joyce Muniz. Born in Brazil, she moved to Vienna in her teens and now splits her time between there, where she has her studio and a show on national radio station FM4, and Berlin. She started her career as a DJ and MC at Vienna’s Flex club, then found fame as a vocalist, touring alongside Major Lazer, before dedicating herself to production, supported by labels such as Exploited, Get Physical, Permanent Vacation, International DJ Gigolo and Pets. Most recently she took her music on the road, performing live with different orchestras across Germany as part of the Synth Live project, the first woman to join them. All this is alongside continual DJing, recently touring Australia to tick off playing every continent – bar the less-than-club-friendly Antarctica. Now turn up the volume and spread the word!

Based in İstanbul, BUSSI is a sound engineer, DJ/music producer, music director and event manager. Formerly a bass guitarist, BUSSI was producing music into different forms in early years. A crucial voice of the local Turkish electronic music scene, she caught the attention of the scene rapidly touring a lot in the past years after finishing her Audio engineering program.
Made her Europe appearance in Berlin at the one of the most prestigious club, Katerblau recently, following performances in Budapest, Rome, Paris, Egypt and Tirana. She released her first track ‘’Space Clock’’ from Metiora, top indie dance producer worldwide, REBRN’s label as a strong debut, already playing the track in all dancefloors around the world including Oliver Koletzski’s Garbicz Festival Performance, and getting strong reaction from the listeners worldwide. Following Space EP will be released on one of the best Indie dance label Bunny tiger including ID ID and Modbit Remixes.
Following her success on stage, she was a part of some special projects this year as being the first woman ever played a DJ set in 85m high on a wind turbine, for Enerjisa world music campaign. The performance reached over 1 million views worldwide. Afterwards, she was invited to perform at Fashion Week Studio in Paris and Milano with world-famous designers. Also in the past years she represented Turkey in Pioneer DJ global seminar on Woman’s day. Amsterdam dance event followed those special appearances.

Keeping the hype with every show that she plays, she shared the same stage with the most prestigious acts; Innellea, Joachim Pastor, Eli & Fur, Goom Gum, Einmusik, Teho, Lexer, Jacob as well as performances in recognised festivals: Summerdaze Festival, FG Space 101 Festival, Wonderland and more.
Contributing the music scene in İstanbul, she is directing Overdaze events & Zoe Garden nightclub. She defines her style as as a fine selection of indie dance with groovy basslines and rhythms, in an addition with some well selected house touch.
