<p>As a precursor to his upcoming &#8220;Intensity&#8221; album on Tronic, Eric Sneo offers us this prerelease with one album track and two remixes of &#8220;Move On&#8221;, another favorite of ours from 2013.<br />
 Eric&#8217;s own remix of &#8220;Move On&#8221; is up first, with the main riff updated to the max, mutating and growing. The rocksteady rhythm section provides a more straightforward approach to its predecessor, leaving the familiar, manic snares to raise the suspense levels. Mendo takes it from there and flips the track completely on its head, leaving just mere fragments pointing to the original, while organic, shuffling drums and quirky percussion lead the way. <br />
 Sealing the deal is &#8220;Metanoia&#8221;, taken straight from the imminent full-length release. A metallic riff dominates most of the track and blends seamlessly with scratchy effects and arpeggios looming from a melodic distance.</p>

An electro/new-wave track that was heavily played in the early 80's on the  WBMX mix shows by the HOT MIX 5. 

Anne Clark published her first album, The Sitting Room, with songs written by herself. On the following albums, Changing Places (1983), Joined up Writing (1984)) and Hopeless Cases (1987), Anne benefited from an acquaintance from the Warehouse: keyboardist David Harrow contributed as the co-author. The songs created by this team, such as Sleeper in Metropolis, Our Darkness and Wallies have since been considered milestones the 1980s and 1990s. (wikipedia)

A top five tracker from Black 8, the talented Egyptian producer arrives on Sudbeat and oozes of class.
The title track is a sophisticated fairly housey affair, with emotions pouring from its every part, with acoustic guitars and sampled choral vocals meeting warm pads and more, all melting wonderfully into a beautiful warm soundscape of the highest order.
'TNT' takes things a little tougher and darker, as melodics sprinkle over shuffling edged beats, while acidic noises ping around.
'Rising Tide' is a mysterious slab of goodness. As dark meets light, with big phat synths and gnarly tinged sounds meeting luscious pads, while all along teased by long drops and a great groove.
'Once Upon a Time' is a smile inducing piece of electronica, wrapped up in a blanket of dreaminess. We don't need to say any more really.
Closing things up nicely, we have the club mix of 'Once Upon a Time' , and using the elements from the original and adding gated synths and a deep bassline, turns in to a dance floor moment.

Taken from his new album, Theory of Flo, 'Waiting For A Woman' fuses African and Latin rhythms with the western club sounds. Anbuley provides the hypnotising vocals, that flirt playfully with the soaring synth lines and delicate drum patterns.

Adam Beyer’s Drumcode juggernaut attracts more fans and critical plaudits with each passing year. Holding firm on its future facing ethos, techno’s number one label presents a new volume in its acclaimed A-Sides series with 20 prime tracks to signify its 20th anniversary. 

Such is the volume of quality music Adam Beyer receives throughout the course of the year, releasing all of it would be impossible. Enter the blue chip A-Sides series: a chance for the quality-obsessive label head to issue a collection of outstanding tracks that couldn’t fit in their regular EP release schedule. 

With an eye on future talent, as much as the label’s established roster of heavy-hitters, the compilation showcases the full breadth of Drumcode’s multifaceted techno sound, equal parts inspiring and functional. 

Led by the stealth techno funk of ‘Nine of You’, Beyer’s deft collaboration with Mark Reeve, the compilation takes in exciting highlights from big guns such as Alan Fitzpatrick, Dustin Zahn, Bart Skils, Pleasurekraft, Luca Agnelli, Jay Lumen, Kaiserdisco and Gary Beck. 

The rich vein of form displayed by emerging techno talent is similarly given prime position. Rising DJ/producer Boxia makes his Drumcode debut, fresh from a well-received warm up set for the crew at the hugely successful Junction 2 festival in London, while the likes of Enrico Sangiuliano, Juan Sanchez, Ian O’Donovan and Timmo also drop fire, establishing their credentials as some of the most promising talent breaking through the ranks in 2016. 

Reinforcing the global scope of the label, artists such as The Junkies from Toronto and Layton Giordani from New York, prove techno is winning a place in the heart of the new generation of artists coming out of North America.

Out with their third EP of 2016, this August Monkey Safari will release 'Boris,' with remixes by Guy Mantzur and Victor Ruiz, showing the world once again that these guys aren't messing around. 'Boris' is the follow up to their successful mega-EP, 'Bernstein,' released in June, with remixes by John Digweed & Nick Muir and UNER. Their next four-track EP shows the brothers' more serious, grownup side, taking new risks with no vocals, utilizing empty spaces and slower buildups. 'Boris' showcases proper club music: dark and sweaty Tech House with a hypnotic twist.
In the first track of the EP, self-titled "Boris," Sven and Lars go even deeper into their trance trajectory bridging on the darker side of Techno. The second track, "Dodge," takes listeners on a mystical journey playing with deep ambient sounds and a drop that makes your heart speed up. Tel Aviv-based producer Guy Mantzur (Kompakt / Bedrock / Diynamic) drops his hypnotic and seductive remix of "Boris," impossible not to get lost in. Celebrating a landmark achievement of reaching 100 releases, Sudbeat pull out all of the stops with a star studded release, featuring many of the labels favourites in one smile inducing swoop and introducing a new graphic restyling that mark a new era for the label!

Not much needs to be said about Guy J, who is the perfect choice to proclaim this Centenarian landmark.

'Algorithm' is a stunning musical workout, a lesson in how to create tension, with its subtleties being its crowning glory. The pulsating rhythms create a mystique, matched only by its beautifully layered and carefully crafted harmonious tones and tripped out effects. Understated sounds cascade, creating a powerful soundscape that packs a mighty punch, that all adds wondrously to this magical musical meting pot.

The first remix steps up label heads Hernan Cattaneo and Graziano Raffa, who of course are the ideal candidates to try represent the label sound. Their fine rework utilises the original elements superbly, whilst also adding further drama and energy with its sweeping pads, beautiful chords and dubby overtones. A pacey affair ensues as things intensify elegantly, drawing you in to its striking climatic breakdown. Layer upon layer seem to collectively erupt as we peak to a crowd frenzying occasion thats sure to raise the roof.

If you hadn't been spoiled enough, then the Spanish emperor Henry Saiz is up next, bringing all his usual class to close this package beautifully. Henry's hallmark epic sound is represented in full effect here, as a dramatic and invigorating workout ensues. Locking you in to its groove and then swamping you with a profound lead synth, reminiscent of film scores and conjuring up sci-fi images delivers the powerhouse to be reckoned with. This tale unfurls further as the vivid breakdown delivers another turn its saga.
