Patch notes: A complex jungle jam sequenced entirely by the ASQ-1.

The ASQ-1 includes a pair of SH101 style CV/Gate sequencers, a quantiser, and 4 drum machine style pattern sequencers. Here the note sequencers control a chord voice and sub bass line from Squid channels 6 and 7. The 4 trigger outs sequence break samples and additional one shot drum sounds. Sounds are brought in and out via the ASQ-1 using the (Hold + Rest) key combo to mute and unmute the selected output.

Patch Notes:

Expanding the System Coupe with Akemie’s Castle, 2x Pip Slopes, and the MFX housed in our 52HP mini case.

In this patch, the dual voices of Akemie’s Castle are used to create a thick, detuned bassline, with envelope modulation from the Quaid. A gritty lead sound is created with the MCO / MCF utilising the MCO’s multiple outputs for light filter FM for added sparkle. The lead voice is sent through the MFX’s Digi-PCM delay program which adds deep ambience as well as a heavy pitch vibrato. The Squid is used for beats and patched through the Milton’s line input to add a warm analog saturation.

Small systems with fun and unique modules make a great addition to the flexible groovebox style arrangement of the System Coupe.

The Coupe is a super flexible modular instrument equipped with various sound sources, innovative pattern creation and sequencing, modulation, sampling, processing and integration with external equipment. It is the perfect modular groovebox for creating full tracks in any style on the fly!

All sounds from the System Coupe sequenced via Digitakt with reverb from REV500 and basic post EQ and compression.
