Featuring a gargantuan remix from sonic titan Steve Moore, as well as remixes from Portland underground greats Grizz Thomas and Old World. The dreams are tangerine, ramping into a shimmering ecstatic current, summoning a pulsar of shredded tension - emitting a righteous blaze. The edge of the universe is a blade wielded by only those who can feel its pure love.

Exploring the depths of 2 TAZM-O’s with voltage controlled TZFM, velocity, and waveshape sequencing by the @weareelektron Syntakt.

A pair of TAZM-O’s are connected in an FM carrier + modulator configuration. As the level of the rightmost TAZM-O (modulator) is increased, dynamic TZFM is heard, changing as the leftmost (carrier) TAZM-O’s FM Index is modulated by the Pip Slope. Next, an independent pitch sequence is patched to the modulator to shift the FM ratio. Velocity out of mmMidi is then patched to the modulator level, adding even more movement to the depth of the FM. Delay is added to the TAZM-O’s via the Syntakt and a chord is layered in. Lastly, the second velocity out of the mmMidi is connected to the modulator wave shape, creating organic wobbles and bends in the FM as it is sequenced.🦈

Dual TAZM-O FM

Second single, Cyclops, floats into sight through the thick, hazy gas cloud of the cosmos. Its uplifting, distant, bowed strings and high, staccato percussive tones reveal themselves, but just as quickly disappear as you reach out to touch them through the spacesuit. Almost cinematic in its scope, just like the mythical Cyclops, this piece has one singular vision and it will leave you breathless.

On a musical quest for balancing professional skill with impulse and feeling, Jacob Funch investigates dark depths within something very smooth, meditative and sunny. He seems to possess the rare ability of striking minor chords with a smile on his face. An almost disturbing calm bliss permeates his symphonic ambience, leaving a door open for the listener to dress up as a drunken captain looking for magic wands and mushrooms. In his lo-fi bedroom study, Funch uses cheap synths to create gothic pop structures, resulting in some of this music sounding like Robert Smith composing 'Disintegration' for a Nintendo game. With an almost naive balearic playfulness, romantic themes circle round like birds in Himalayas of sound - suddenly battling with knights in dark medieval valleys, only to return to the sky with wings fully loaded of jazzy pineapples.

Worst Records' hall of fame welcomes new faces around the pool for a 13-stages enlightened drama. You'll meet again with the top 3 podium made of A Strange Wedding, Jacques Satre and Christian Coiffure, all rensponsible for our first three releases, building up a mesmerizing, out of season mental workout. Extending the dimension of trance towards Saint-Etienne, Del.Duc brings on a curious yet serene astral travel, and we can also count on the distant reinforcements from the Toulouse Gouffre Club crew with Jan Loup and her glitch spangled hazy dub from far futures and the new trance comer from Bordeaux, Lazuli.
Special friends are also gathering here, as Myako is sewing on thin fabric a vaporous dub in shades of grey, the one-and-only master touki Théo Muller delivers a cinematic remedy to confinement.
Liberation through hearing, it is, as borders explode with the presence of many : Yin Yang Audio in a transatlantic IDM/break jump, Forest on Stasys (aka Mental Resonance) and his tough shamanic dance, Clemens Friedrich slowing down all senses at once and JEANS, boss of Oracle Bones, speeding us up in the hyperloop.
Finally, as teamwork means a lot, we have given the pleasure to open this compilation to the four-headed Lausanne/Freiberg hydra 4POTR and their cryptic transdimensional message, and the honor of closing this pool party to the 404 trio gem from Candoblé with a fine piece of wonder.

Not exactly your usual summer compilation, nor the hits you could imagine, but surely the music you'll need under the hot sun of 2020.
