Patch Notes:

Performing with the Quaidra Reverb engine of the MFX Pedal and SH-101. Changes to the vast reverb are integrated into the performance with the A and B knobs preassigned to reverb Damping and Low Cut.

The SH-101 is connected directly to the MFX Pedal for processing through the Quaidra Reverb engine, a vast reverb based on 90s rack reverb algorithms. Using the A and B knobs, preassigned to reverb Damping and Low Cut respectively, changes to the reverb are integrated into the performance, with the Damping reduced to intensify the sound and length of the tail. The lush infinite reverb from the Quaidra creates a vast tonal blanket underlying the bright and simple sounds of the 101.

Eight years since their inaugural release, Mexico City-based record label Discos Sentimiento issue 'Atlas' LP from Pedro Ceñal Murga, better known as superplasticfantastic...Our pick from the album is ‘Kabur‘. Spanning over 6-minutes, the track unfolds as a beguiling journey across the planet's edge, melding the pulse of neo-dancehall rhythms with a spectral wash of distant echoes and mind-warping arpeggios. The midsection provides a momentary reprieve, a serene interlude that anchors the listener before dissolving into a cloud of ultra-filtered, dub-inflected atmospheres. This tension gradually builds, crescendoing into a surging vortex of psyched-out oscillations, sending waves of sonic disarray rippling like astroparticles.

Seta Loto, an Italian producer and DJ based in Berlin, brings us into his sonic world with his debut EP Earth Related System, released in November 2023 on Comic Sans Records. This five-track EP builds a deep composition that seamlessly combines minimal bass, techno, dub, and dancehall, capturing the pulse of tectonic shifts through intricate sound design. In October 2024, his second EP, Partial Pressure, was released on the Parisian label De la... je l’espère. Inspired by Dalton’s Law, it creates an almost alchemical tension between harmony and individuality within the soundscape.

Touring across Europe in cities like Berlin, Amsterdam, and Milan, Seta Loto invites listeners to join his musical journey through features on Rinse France, Radio Flouka, FlashLab, and Fritto FM.
