 „Butterfly Defect“ doesn‘t follow trends and is far from being a fashion-band. Imagine modern rock music combined with an old school rock approach where melodies, arrangement, artistic expression and musicianship are priority. Intense, atmospheric and effective riffs lock in with meticulously composed drum-parts just to be followed by big choruses that breathe with catchy vocal melodies and lyrics. Thematically, it's about human emotions and impressions like selfishness, feelings of guilt, isolation, rejection, self-disgust up to suicidal thoughts, which all pulsate a dark atmosphere.

„Butterfly Defect“ basically is the cosmos where vocalist, songwriter and guitarist Marco Meyer is able to express all his creativity. There are no limits. Driven by some of the most experienced musicians on the scene - David Laplant (bass), Phillip Albright (drums) and Philip Bölter (guitar) - the band is complete and offers an incredible, intense live show for every rock fan.
