Corona Instrumental

Butterfly is a DJ, producer, and musician based in Berlin. She has performed countless times in renowned clubs such as Tresor, SO36, KitKat, Matrix, Arena, and Pfefferberg. Active on the scene for many years, she also deejayed at the events and places that put Berlin on the map, such as the Love Parade and Tacheles.

Deep House, Techno, Minimal, ‘80s Disco, and Free Style all form her musical palette. She mixes her own music with tracks from other artists. The mood of the audience determines the course of her sets. She always wants to get the club pumping by getting people to the dancefloor and keeping them there. In addition, she also performs DJ sets with her Theremin, the very first electronic instrument. Invented in 1919, it is the only instrument played without being touched.

She studied at the School of Sound Design. Besides producing dance music, she has also composed soundtracks, including one for “Dr. Caligari”, and made music videos. Butterfly has also given workshops in music production and deejaying to children.

She worked with the agency Second Life as a label owner in life and re-life. She was the house producer at the now defunct art house Tacheles for many years where she worked with numerous artists of different genres. She had her own internet radio station and podcasts.

Her music is distributed by Beatport through labels like Deep Taste, Nadaism, and Joprec.
