Advice for the DJs, producers and artists of our community:
I think the most important thing is firstly finding your community. Find the people and music that inspire you. If you can't find people and spaces that make you feel comfortable and safe - keep looking, as they are out there somewhere. Once you find it, invest in your scene - if you love and nurture it, it can give back to you. Then, give back some more... Create a symbiotic relationship. Ask questions of the people you look up to, even if the questions seem silly. It's great to have a goal but don't forget to enjoy the process. Practice heaps! Be kind to yourself as you learn. There will be setbacks and times that will make you want to give up completely - don't give up! These setbacks will offer so much room for growth and learning. Listen and take advice on board but then go your own way. Stay true to what feels natural to you. It's hard not to compare yourself to others, especially in the era of social media. I find it can be empowering to accept that those thoughts are there, and try and not give them too much air time. Don't listen to people who try to make you feel shame for taking yourself seriously. There is no shame in taking your art seriously. You're never too old to start!!! Learning about genres can be cool but don't stress about them. Last, but not least... Play tracks you love, and have fun :)

Hailing from Aarhus, Denmark, C.K is the main man behind Safe Distribution and its affiliated labels, such as PRS and Help Recordings to name just two. He has been known to release under a variety of different monikers, including the ambient-focused projects 3.11 and 355.11125. C.K is also part of several collectives, namely 2 Bit Crew, Maizena, and the infamous Regelbau crew, alongside Manmade Deejay, DJ Sports, Central, and more. A keen digger, C.K has a never-ending desire to find new music (and old) for his DJ sets. Whether performing solo or back-to-back, C.K is known to represent the relaxed but recognisable sound of all the labels and artists surrounding the Safe crew – usually with a nod a bit more towards the euphoric soundscapes of Dream House, with bouncy basslines and luscious melodies. Our next mix comes from someone we've been dying to have on here - one of our absolute favourite producers and DJs @caim-records ! 

As one of the mainstays in the Amsterdam scene, Mark has been putting out some incredibly classy records on his own imprint, drawing inspiration from deep house, electro, techno and the incredible talent pool of his peers such as Eversines, RDS and Human Space Machine. 

As well as his productions, he is an incredibly deep digger with the skills to match, flawlessly weaving together gems from across the musical spectrum of the last 20 years. As you know, this is exactly what we like here at On Ro so we're more than happy to present this fantastic mix from a true DJ's DJ.
