Earth Dog 036: Caldera

The third offering in our mix series is a live recording of Priori and Cousin's dj set at Sustain Release 2024. Recorded on the last morning between 6am and 1pm on what was meant to be an ambient stage, it featured everything a 3 day festival closing set should. Eclectic picks, strange and emotional sounds, dubious transitions and a few feigned endings. Massive thanks to all the dancers, the Sustain staff (Aurora, Ash and everybody else who put their blood, sweat and tears into this), the music makers, the birds, the stars.

This track was originally on the 2006 Album Sonambulism.  Making it 19 years old.  
amazingly, around this time I was bouncing every midi track down to audio.  so now that I've got Cubase working again, going into these old tracks and touching them up (admittedly in Logic), is fairly straightforward.  Of course, some of the plug ins from 2006 are long since lost on a PC somewhere. 
this is a long sprawling and indulgent track.  Takes quite a while to get going.  Give or take a couple of notes on the piano and adjusting the drum tracks a bit - this is pretty much ow the original sounded.
