Aplexo returns to Purified Records with his dynamic Space EP, following his August-released two-tracker, Faces. The title track, Space, combines pulsating, textured basslines with shimmering, fractured synths and a delicate, ethereal female vocal, crafting a track that feels both expansive and intimate. On the flip, Eye delves into deeper, more hypnotic territory, with soaring melodic synths and resonant, atmospheric layers that draw listeners into a contemplative, trance-infused soundscape. Highlighting Aplexos talent for blending emotive vocals with forward-thinking production, the Space EP cements his reputation for crafting immersive, boundary-pushing electronic music. The Space EP artwork is a photograph taken by Jan Erik Waider at Hoffellsjökull glacial lagoon in Iceland, which is part of Vatnajökull National Park. A fine art photographer based in Hamburg, Germany, Jan is known for capturing abstract landscapes of the northern latitudes. With a focus on water, ice, and intricate natural patterns, his work reveals the beauty hidden in the subtle details of the world around us. Frozen regions store nearly 70\%\% of the worlds freshwater and play a crucial role in regulating global climate. Bordello A Parigi is on the hunt once again, this time journeying to southern France to unearth an up and coming sect of synthesizer sorcerers: Blind Delon. Hailing from Toulouse, the triumvirate of Mathis Kolkoz, Théo Fantuz and Coco Thiburs offer a sound that combines indie and wave with seemingly effortless execution. The soft interlude of “Sometimes” introduces Assassin. A groove grips pulsing rhythms, subtle strings and throaty vocals in the captivating “Sombre Soleil”. Those vocals become even deeper in the dreamy “J’ai Honte”. Smoke spirals around keys in this brooding work of guitars rifts and bruised egos. The title piece perfectly melds warm strings with cold synthlines for a superb climax to an EP that exudes modern synth-wave chic.

DSM-V is a project based between Melbourne and Sydney, consisting of Marc Dwyer (Buzz Kull) and Morgan Wright (Burning Rose Records, Pelvis Records). After sharing the stage with their respective acts, the pair started to collaborate and record what would become DSM-V.

This first release from DSM-V traverses the usual EBM / Nu Beat tropes by including elements of hard dance and post-punk. Sounds you can blast on a club soundsystem or on speakers at home.

The band derives its name from the Diagnostic Statics Manual Revision number 5.

This is a co-release between Third Coming & Burning Rose.

DSM-V - Function

Buzz Kull is the solo project of Sydney-based musician and producer Marc Dwyer.

Since 2012 Buzz Kull has been blending elements of darkwave, EBM, and synth-pop into a sound that’s dark, dissonant and danceable. 

His early work, including his 2017 debut Chroma and 2018’s New Kind of Cross, was defined by stripped-back production and a fascination with minimal synth textures. These records drew from early industrial and post-punk traditions, pairing drum machine-led tracks with cool, monotonous vocals and moody atmospherics. 

Over time, Dwyer’s sound has grown harder and more precise. His 2022 album Fascination, released through Italian label Avant! Records, marked a turning point — a sleek, focused collection of dark dance tracks that channel the energy of late-’80s body music. 

Outside of Buzz Kull, Dwyer is a frequent collaborator and remixer, collaborating with artists across the darker ends of electronic music. 

He has toured extensively throughout Europe, the US, LATAM and Asia, sharing stages with contemporaries like Cold Cave, Boy Harsher, Kontravoid and Spike Hellis.
