Back 1978 when my name was Doug Smith I was working as an on-air personality at CFAN Radio in Newcastle, New Brunswick, Canada.  Quebec artist Martin Steven released this cover of John Paul Young's hit - and the flip side of the 45 RPM promo disc that was sent to radio stations had the vocals removed.  So, using one of the production studios, I added my own vocals.
