We begin our fourth ten-episode of podcast series. Its lineup is enriched by @atropic - headmaster of @acidtropicaliacrew and co-creator of the Fuzja and RAVE/TEK cycles, which specialize in non-techno electronic music in the broadest sense of the term (although they also sometimes touch on it). 

Lukasz himself - with his outstanding knowledge - would be best to tell what he specializes in, or what genres have found a place in this recording. The range is really quite large, and Jachu himself seems to have nothing to do with boundaries during mixing, so it's probably best not to ask any more questions, turn on this recording and applaud the author with appreciation of his skills and selektah.

Check out the premiere of one of the tracks on Rotary Cocktail's upcoming Summer Rainbow EP by Dub Taylor, a dubby four-tracker built around the vocal work of Eddie. The remix work by German DJ/Producer Marko Fürstenberg adds to a great addition in the RC's catalog.

Marko Fürstenberg seems to have followed the typical path to being a successful producer and DJ in the techno scene. Growing up in the GDR, more precisely in Thuringia, Marko managed to get his hands on records by groups like Depeche Mode, A-Ha and New Order.

Only a couple of years after the fall of the wall, Marko started DJ’ing at regional parties, fostering his interest in music and labels like X-Trax, Force Inc., Klang and later Basic Channel. Venturing further into production with his computer at home, he released his first music - a mixture between downbeat and trip hop. 

The digital release of Summer Rainbow EP will be out on the 24th of August.

RELEASE DESCRIPTION

The 36th release on Darin Epsilon’s Perspectives Digital is a special collaboration between legendary producer Lexicon Avenue, Andrew Best, and vocalist Slim Wall.  Perhaps best known for his Depeche Mode 'Only When I Lose Myself' interpretation, Chris Scott of Lexicon Avenue has been on the cutting edge of electronic music for over 10 years.  He boasts a discography which includes releases on Audio Therapy, Hooj Choons, Ministry of Sound, Mute, Renaissance, and Yoshitoshi.  UK producer Andrew Best spent many years collaborating with Lexicon Avenue and Mic Burns of Blue Haze fame before beginning a successful solo endeavor in 2013.

The first interpretation of 'Slide' is provided by Lithuanian producer Kastis Torrau. As one of the country’s foremost talents and winner of Sasha’s Burn Studios remix competition, Kastis continues to be one of the underground's most in demand artists.  His 'Slide' interpretation is sure to be a standout in his discography with its energetic, club friendly vibe leading the charge.  Anchored by tough, syncopated beats and a smooth harmonic groove, it builds effortlessly with Slim Wall's lush vocals adding an elegant touch along the way.  A well crafted breakdown adds dramatic tension, furthering the sonic scope before a rush of crystalline noise washes the atmosphere away for a tasteful drop.
