It’s been a while since we did a release and we’ve been sitting on this one for far too long so in a valiant effort to get the fractal machine back up to full speed for when the clubs reopen here in the UK we decided to get a little taster of the inevitable trade deal our American friends are going to give us for our next release.

Hailing from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, DECONTROL has been cooking up bangers for the last decade, featuring on our “Just A Cacophony Of Random Noise” compilation along with releases on Mindocracy, Devil Times Nine and Big Riddim he always hits that distinct deep-fried USA flavour of Drum & Bass perfectly. It's that tried and tested recipe - a base combination of heavily compressed amens and extra fat basslines, garnished with a fistful of rap samples - but the classics recipes never die, allowing DECONTROL to serve you three courses stuffed full of your favourite ingredients.

Opening track “Street Mentality” draws you in with an old school hip hop introduction scratching classic rap samples around a screeching gangsta synth line before picking up the energy with a siren build up and finishing you off with choppy blast beat drums and distorted basslines.

“Shots From The Underground” begins with atmospheric drones and sparse percussion before a distorted bass builds to a heavy rolling drop. The most dancefloor oriented song of the release this one is guaranteed to add a big dose of energy into any party.

Don’t let the soft strings in the intro of the final track fool you as “Simple Murder” quickly morphs itself into a distorted barrage of sound moments after it begins building into a half time twisted hip hop style first drop whilst saving the dirty 4x4 crossbreed kicks for the ultimate payoff in the second half, to all you DJ’s who enjoy starting heavy this is a banging opener.

Insidulate from South UK has been passionate about much electronic music since his early teenage years and it wasn't long until he started going to raves  age 16 and learning to mix not long after.  He developed strong connection with with the music and the scene. Autumn 2022 will see the launch of his own record label, "Dreamcode Recordings", focussing on Breakcore, IDM and much more. He has put together a big VA compilation with many artists from across the globe which will be releasing very soon. He has also been working on much of his own music over the last few years, some of he will release on his own label.

With over 20 years DJ, production and event promoting experience, Scheme Boy has been an integral part of the UK’s underground music scene.  Whether it is Acid, IDM, Breakcore, Bass, Techno or Hardcore, Scheme Boy had covered it all... and usually in one set!

As a DJ, Scheme Boy is a festival favourite with many appearances at Bang Face, Balter, Glade, Boomtown and Defqon1 to his name. His world-renowned multi-genre sets stick out from the rest of the crowd as he weaves a sonic tapestry like no other, pulling threads from all sorts of scenes and styles to make his sound unique, personal and emotive. As someone who has worked largely within the Breakcore and Hardcore scenes of Europe, he hasn’t been scared to make melody and harmony a vital part of his set creation. There’s more to his shows than just dancefloor groove. They’re an emotional rollercoaster as well.

As a producer, Scheme Boy has worked with The Teknoist, Dolphin, Enduser, Kursa, Ben Pest and many more over the years. He has featured on the following labels; Ninja Columbo, Peace Off/Bang-a-Rang, Industrial Strength, Sustained Records, Nekrolog1k, Ad Noiseam, Rancorous Records, Anticlone, Love Love and Murder Channel. He has also been featured on a variety of video games and TV shows as well as contributing work to over 70 music education text books.

As a promoter, Scheme Boy started out co-founding London’s Adverse Camber collective, responsible for the infamous Awesome Power parties. 20 years later he is still organising events, featuring both legends from the scene and new upcoming talent, as part of his Varispeed Artist Management agency.
