BWQ's EP1, "Crack Up."

In December of 2018, the quartet known as BWQ took a trip down to Nashville. Over the course of 4 days, they recorded an album at the famed Blackbird Studios.

After some rigorous months of polishing and refining, this is the result.

Compared to LP1, the tone is more open, direct, and even playful at times; it is the breaking of facade. And sometimes, you just have to laugh.

The quartet from Jersey City was formed as a natural byproduct of singer-songwriter's Darryl Joo's debut album, "American Ghost," released in 2018 under Project BWQ.

Simplifying the concept from 14 collaborators to a more standard 4-piece band, the project was renamed BWQ in 2018. "Crack Up" was released July 26, 2019.
In partnership with Astral publishing, it was re-released as "One by One" in January 2020.

"Everybody Stand Up Straighter!" is scheduled for Spring 2021.
