Rewind
Rewind is a song filled with hope whilst still acknowledging the pain of lost love.  Finding all the good things in a failed relationship, Rewind shows how failed experiences in love only make the heart stronger.  Being able to move forward without looking back is hard but essential – ‘I won’t press rewind’.  The hope experienced in Electric Love is expanded upon, with the pain less raw, looking forward to a time when friendship with an ex is finally conceivable.

Hurricane
The EP opens with the title track, Hurricane, a throbbing slice of dark dance pop.  It charts the difficult plight of convincing a loved one a recent scrap is nothing more than an inconsequential tussle.  ‘It’s just another Hurricane throwing us upside down again.’  Musically, it reflects how a Hurricane builds and builds, with each section of the song building a momentum that falls away to the middle eight. Here you find yourself in the eye of the storm, before it builds up to the final all out crescendo. Sonically, it was inspired by the darker side of disco, in particular by Italian producer Georgio Moroder.
