By-Proxy is a diverse female-fronted four piece Alternative band from South West Wales, presenting an eclectic and unique blend of Funk, Ska and Rock. 
Together since 2009, the band formed its current incarnation in early 2012 and have made appearances on Bro Radio’s Rock show with Nathan Spackman and performed alongside acts such as Sian Evans (from the band Kosheen and the track Louder by DJ Fresh ft. Sian Evans), Regime, New Exhibition of Noise (N.E.O.N.), The Echo and The Shaws. By-Proxy have performed at venues across the country including The Buffalo Bar Cardiff, The Metropolitan Bar in Llanelli, The Parrot Carmarthen, The Queens Hall in Narberth and The Labyrinth bar in Haverfordwest where they consistently pack out the rooms and currently hold the title of ‘Band of the Year’. By-Proxy also have a loyal fan base well-earnt from their tireless local gigs and participation in Battle of the Bands contests. Shortly before the recent release of their 8-track EP, a track was made available via Reverbnation and hit the top 2 spot within the week.
They are an energetic, youthful band with experience and enthusiasm on their side after years spent playing in and around South Wales. Charging from Rock to Motown, bouncing through ska and coming back full circle while effortlessly combining searing female vocals with tight, bouncy rhythms from the boys.
