Having held residencies at Café Del Mark & Amnesia Ibiza, ATHEA’s music career is flooded with achievements in his production & bookings.
His tunes like ‘Dancing With Strangers’ and ‘Tesla’ found their way to crowds through Marco Carola, Sasha, Steve Lawler, John Digweed, with Richie Hawtin regularly opening sets with ‘Kepler' for a summer.

Give your afternoon the lift it deserves with this week’s SIDEWAYS series, courtesy of SlyFox residents and all-round nice blokes – Mesan. These boys are known in the Sydney underground electronic music community for their signature, deep style and ability to pack out a dancefloor. They have played alongside some of the biggest names in the scene including Sasha, Guy J, Robert Babicz, Oliver Huntemann, Eelke Kleijn, Oliver Schories, Matthew Dekay, and Alexkid to name but a few.

For this edition of the series the lads have gifted us an hour of deep, progressive delights. True to their sound, it’s soothing and slow-burning, with gently undulating melodies and hypnotic, tribal percussion. It strikes a nice balance between darker elements and the big sweeping chords and melodic hooks that they have become known for. As always the mixing is clean as a whistle highlighting the boys’ skills behind the wheels.

Today it is our pleasure to introduce young talent and By Your Side resident, Rory Vevers to the SIDEWAYS series. Rory is an up and coming DJ that has a fervent zeal for electronic music and is fixated on translating that passion onto the dancefloor. He specialises in underground tech-house of the highest calibre and this mix is no exception featuring tracks from Christoph, Felipe Cobos, Nukem and our very own Dan Baartz. Rory is a part of an exciting crop of young Sydney selectors and he is quickly amassing a robust following, definitely one to watch out for in the very near future.
