A short fanfare originally created for my fitness video journal's opening title sequence.  A simple melody in triplet time creates an enthusiastic "gallop".

In the prologue to my no-budget video production of William Shakespeare's "As You Like It", the DuBois brothers attend their father's funeral.

I don't think I intended the main theme for "As You Like It" to sound western when I started, but it ended up being highly appropriate since the production was adapted to fit the Central Oregon landscape.

As the main characters rejoice at their happy ending, they dance gleefully off across the field and the end credits roll.

Brian Johnson is a video producer and prize-winning film director in Central Oregon.  As a composing hobbyist, he often writes his own music for his film and video projects.  His compositions have also enhanced local community theater productions as overtures, entr'actes, and curtain calls.  His musical heroes are Danny Elfman and Jim Dooley.
