Creating a community network for musicians, Bright Yellow Beetle Records (BYBR) aims to make the title of 'professional musician' a viable form of employment in New Zealand. The focus is to assist musicians in funding their projects through alternative means such as fundraising gigs, sponsorship and helping them to apply for the many different types of artistic grants and funds that are currently available. BYBR aims to work on a project by project basis, through building a relationship with the musicians to collectively achieve their artistic goals.
