Songwriter, producer Jason Kai is ready to premiere his debut single “No Good”, his anticipated foray into his solo career. With a downtempo, electronic vibe, the single is the perfect backdrop to peaceful moments spent alone, late nights or early mornings, while there is less noise from the outside world to reflect upon. No Good is a brutally honest song touching on his vulnerabilities and fears. This song is an ode to all creatives – the realization that we’re married to our work, and we may not be as good, or healthy for most relationships, as our energy will subconsciously always be given to our art first.

Written and performed by Jason Kai, produced by himself alongside frequent collaborator artist/producer Bobby Love, the two are creating a refreshing wave unafraid to experiment with sound. Along with the single, an intellectual art piece conceptualized and directed by Ashley Harris which includes abstract interactions with paint, designed by Nicole Elliott, will also premiere.
