It's the start of a larger conversation and is a track for anyone processing grief, growing and changing, and empowerment of your own inner knowing on a journey home to yourself.

"The Difference" is the 3rd track off of my album, going somewhere. It's inspired by the justice card in tarot and the bargaining stage of a grief journey. It's an up beat track with deep feeling and it's for anyone who feels like they never got the closure or justice from a situation or relationship.

fourth track off of my album, "going somewhere". restless was originally written in 2016 and released as my first single getting out of music school. in the context of this record it takes on new meaning as the part of one's healing journey where they explore the unsaid and emotions around a friend or lover that keep you up at night in your own head.

"Alaska" is my Track 5 on "going somewhere". It's the feeling of that special happy at peace place we all have and wanting to hold onto that feeling when in the hustle and burnout is at it's highest. It's for anyone ready to leave it all behind and run into the woods with their person, or at least day dream about better days ahead.

Gina's song is track 6 on the "going somewhere" album. It's inspired by my best friend and the ways we've held eachother's hearts over the years through all of the grief and growth of growing up again and again. It's a track for when you're missing your best friend and appreciating the unique story of your journey together. If you have a best friend, lover, soul sister send this to them! We all deserve to be reminded how much we matter to each other.

"mixed feelings" is part of the larger love letter to my late twenties. It's a nostalgic and somber and sweet combination of all of the ways you can hurt and heal in your in between stages. It's realizing the world you worked so hard to build may also be one you are outgrowing. It feels like handing you my heart and I hope it finds whoever needs the reminder it's okay to be in between and grow up again and again.

“The Fool” is for the feelings of stepping into the unknown— it’s the vibe of driving the California coast with friends or a lover, jumping into the spring and summer after months in the rain, embracing a new chapter with a childlike wonder or curiosity.

Written as a love letter to my younger self, and all of the versions I’ve yet to meet, this one is a reminder to prioritize self care and love and that your story can begin again in different ways at any moment even when it feels like you are falling, or “failing” maybe that’s actually your journey unfolding in beautiful new ways you can’t even imagine yet.

maybe the “she says” is someone who loves you and maybe it’s your own inner monologue finally being kind in there. However it finds you, i hope this one resonates in some way and reminds you you are PERFECTLY ON TIME my friend. I hope you hear it and fall in love with your own unique existence, and remember the magic is in the journey. 🃏😘
