Though he's known as one of the premiere DJs of the European Ballroom scene, Seven is quickly taking breaking through to a wider club-going audience. He's probably best known or his hyperactive "full-body style of DJing, which he uses to energize the performers and the crowd, and can sometimes be a bit of a performance in itself.

He takes pride in constantly introducing new beats and new energy to the ballroom scene, and has recently begun producing and remixing tracks himself. His style is heavily informed by his love of techno, mixing vogue beats with bass-heavy club tracks. He aims to reinforce the connection between electronic music and its Black and Queer roots.

Chaque performance est pensée comme une jam avec soi-même, rendue possible par l’accès toujours plus libre aux outils de création musicale.

Entre textures abrasives, rythmiques déconstruites et passages contemplatifs, Georg Crownford façonne un flux sonore qui invite autant au lâcher-prise qu’à l’écoute attentive. Les sets, uniquement distribués en édition ultra limitée sur cassette à l’issue des concerts, accentuent l’esthétique brute et éphémère du projet : une musique à la fois en devenir et achevée.

I guess the bridges yall burning are par for the course, considering the kind of ladder yall trying to climb. Clearly, it is not us who switched up. Enjoy your coins, and keep that energy over there. 

Just because the world is fucked up doesn't give yall an excuse to be fucked up towards others. Let this be a reminder to move in humility, move with integrity, and the patience to think before you speak and act.

I have been quiet for a long time.

For those who have been taken advantage of by the last people they'd expect. For those who are told to bite their tongue and be grateful for receiving and being treated less than they deserve. For those who continue to be ghosted, swerved and curved because accountability is still too frightening. For those who strive every day not to do to them what they did to you. For those who have stayed quiet for far too long. Here are but two catharses.

These sounds are a reminder to all darkskinned femmes that vocalizing your pain is not a burden. Let these sounds be a reminder that you were conditioned to be afraid of your shadow, because it has answers that lead you towards liberation. Let these sounds be an aid in your unlearning, and augment to your own shadow work. For you have just as much right to your feelings of vengeance, anger, hurt, and frustration as any other lighter skinned woman, or "man" (whatever the fuck that is).

The world will always find one way or another to fuck you over. It's the only way we grow. That doesn't give you an excuse to be the same toward others. But if you must embrace your shadow in unhealthy ways, educate yourself first. The universe will have a way of making you deal with what you put others through. Always.

A reminder to move with integrity.
Move in humility.
Think before you speak.
Think before you act.
Do unto others.
Or gag.
