Deaf toucan have been making waves in Sydney’s underground dance scene recently with their own productions and live performances. Taking inspiration from the groovy, hypnotic and tribal sounds of early 90’s techno, combatted with some housey cuts, the two continue to generate movement for the dance floor.

Having gained attention on their own tracks from artists like Sam Alfred and MCR-T, Deaf Toucan are continuing to expand their original sounds across the globe. 

Keep an eye out for their upcoming EP “B-Side Swing” out for ALU Records on the 18th of October.

Joey Maarse, a 25-year-old DJ from Amsterdam with a passion for electronic music,
tries to create a dynamic mix of progressive house, trance, hard house and
everything in between. With his passion for DJ’ing and producing, he always wants to
share his selection of music with everyone and treat the audience with his own
produced tracks.
One of his biggest releases called ”Can y’all really feel me” has already surpassed
100.000 listeners on Soundcloud and has been supported by very big names in the
scene and there is still more music coming!
This mix is more progressive orientated with his favourite tracks at the moment.

Bookended by Jordan Alexander's LFT002, This mix is my first definitive exploration into break, electro and ebm. A Sound that isnt super popular in Melbourne, but thrives in its smallest and most creative corners. I've slowly fallen in love with the sound over the last few months, and my collection reflects it. Starts a bit chiller if its not your cup of tea, but goes deeper and harder to the end (as always ;)). Really, this is a mix where i just get to be me.
