Byron Kashmen is a 32 year old, Manchester artist born in the UK, who has a flair for rock and pop songs be they uptempo or ballad, with an intelligence yet with passion filled lyrics.  He has influences which stretch as far back as Frank Sinatra and right up to the modern times.  His favourite influences are Michael Hutchence of the group INXS as well as Jim Morrison of the Doors and George Michael and George Harrison.  He is influenced by pop and Rock but also the blues and funk and soul.  He got his first guitar aged 13 and had a few yet limited amount of lessons.  The first albums he ever came into contact with were Queen’s Eponymous first album, A Day At The Races and A Night At The Opera, along with a compilation album of T.Rex’s greatest hits and the single for Light My Fire by the Doors.  Music is healing for Byron and at the same time never dull, it is always an expression of the happiness and joy Byron feels to be singing and recording, and always exciting to record his own personal life experiences.  

Byron is currently working on a second EP which is scheduled for release at the end of July 2023
