Bow down to High Klassified, Fool’s Gold’s own bass lord and style king. The Montreal producer raised on 808s and RPGs takes his sound to weird new heights on the Kronostasis EP (out 10/23), picking up where last years auspicious debut Palindroma (“Sounds like anime looks” – Noisey) left off. “Okarina Of Time” and “Saccade Two” bookend the EP with double doses of 64-bit turn up, while “Saccade One” and “Gold” (featuring Chicago rising star Mick Jenkins) bring out a heady, jazzy side to HK that we’ve never heard before. Yet nowhere is High Klassified’s singular swag more evident than “Time In Vain,” and its creepy, cheeky must-see video. You may be familiar with Sivey from his collaborative record with Evil Needle, 'Constructive Interference', released on Soulection in summer of 2014 or you may have caught one of his uptempo, dreamy DJ sets in and around London.

The Manchester-based producer who seamlessly combines a number of varied aesthetics with his unique, moody synth progressions comes correct with the 17th installation in our White Label Series.

In a cohesive 4-part story, Sivey takes us through slow jams, house and future sounds with broken rhythm grooves reminiscent of jazz fusion.

"I chose these tracks because I felt they represent a good mixture of my influences and styles I like to experiment with” Sivey told us.

Sivey creates his moody sounds using FL Studio and enjoys the challenge of pushing the boundaries of how midi can be used to create live sounding music.

Stay Cool #15 looks at some of my favourite hip-hop that's been inspired by, or samples video-games and anime. Starting out with a bass and trap offering, the mix slows down into smooth hip-hop about a quarter of the way in.
