Last year Geronimo! announced they'd be breaking up after seven years, three full lengths, and three EPs as a band, but before they go the Chicago based trio wanted to release their final batch of songs they wrote together. In true Geronimo! fashion, the band continue to prove they only get better with each new release, the fine wine of Chicago fuzzy alternative influenced post-punk. Buzz Yr Girlfriend: Vol. 4 - Why Did You Leave Me? is the result of those final songs, a ripping and agressive burst of shredding guitars and stampeding rhythms. The walls may be closing in on Geronimo!'s time together, but they're not going out without a fight. BYG! Vol. 4 is out March 31st on Exploding In Sound Records.

Since the release of Fuzzy Dreams, the band's full length debut to last year's masterpiece Cheap Trick, Geronimo! have proven to be the Midwest's "best kept secret" but those who have come into contact with the tangled web of their music and the band's unmistakable charm know that Geronimo! may be going the way of the buffalo, but the noise they made over the past seven years will forever ring triumphant. The closing moments of Cheap Trick stand out "Euphoria" says it best, "what kind of heaven have I stumbled in to / can I stay here for a while?".
 
Geronimo! will play their final show on March 28th at Chicago's Beat Kitchen with long time friends Vaya, Velcicopter, and a few others dear friends to be announced in March!
