On Friday(May 17th, 2019), I purchased a Humble Bundle - you know the one, the one with all those editing softwares in it? 

Yeah.

I barely dipped my toes into the video editing-focused ones, but I quickly fell in love with Sound Forge. I decided to play around with the features to correctly pitch and increase the BPM of a rendition of T-SQUARE's "Truth" that I downloaded on Zophar's Music Domain (which is one of my favorite websites)from the game, F-1 Grand Prix II by Jaleco, released in 1992. 

From there - I knew what I had to do: Make cursed stuff. 

This set of six songs, which I hope DOES NOT get a copyright strike (or summon the likes of Bryan Adams upon me for liking "Let Me Take You Dancing"), was made within an hour-and-a-half block of time. This is just me getting it out there for my friends to listen to it (I crave validation, after all). 

I hope you enjoy listening to this cursed mess as much as I laughed like hell through it.

DON'T CLOCK ME originally comes from Dance Dance Revolution Solo Bass Mix (1999), which is a shorter version of Popula Demand's DON'T CLOCK ME, released in 1988.

I DON'T WANT TO MISS A THING (Planet Lution Mix) is very much so a cover of the Aerosmith song of the same name released in 1998. Both songs under this title come from Dance Dance Revolution 5th Mix, released in 2001.

PARANOIA ETERNAL is another song from DDR 5th Mix, originally composed by NM SEQUENCE UNLIMITED, which is one of the many pen names of Naoki Maeda, a Bemani legend. The "290" in the original title paid homage to PARANOIA survivor MAX's composer, as well as the BPM of the track. (Basically, I made PARANOIA ETERNAL survivor MAX by combining them both.) 

RUGGED ASH comes from beatmania 4th mix, originally composed by SYMPHONIC DEFOGGERS, who is really Yasushi Kurobane. One of the best Beatmania songs and an absolute favorite of mine. The rendition in this compilation is a "smooth jazz"-like reimagining by switching the BPM and making it sound nice.

THE CUBE comes from beatmania IIDX 5th Style, originally composed by DJ SUWAMI (Keiichi Ueno). Another "smooth jazz" reimagining of another favorite Beatmania song.
