I Don't Think So

Eighth and final  track on a loose concept album I did for the RPM challenge 11 years ago. Amen is the finale of the story as the protagonist and the band of survivors have found a sanctuary and vow to keep from making the mistakes of the society that destroyed itself. 

We have destroyed society though some horrific mechanism, perhaps nuclear war, and our protagonist travels the wasteland with his guitar looking for other musicians, hope and a chance for some of us to start anew. I used a pretty convoluted recording process, but I like the songs, I hope you do too.

Or say "how could this have happened to me"
Maybe it’s genetic maybe it’s just bad luck
Doesn’t seem to matter to the Little Big C

People tell me if I change the way the way I think
Or the things that I eat and this will all go away
Nice to think it all could be that simple
But I'm pretty sure C doesn't roll that way

At the time i couldn't puzzle out
What it was he meant

A song I wrote. I was thinking about writing of the last seconds alive, and the moment of death and I thought of the words "momento mori" at one point. So I just checked and curiously turns out they used to misspell and mispronounce "memento mori" so often, that they even stopped considering that a mistake...

Natural Stupidity

   I truly play my instruments, write my own songs, really sing my songs and have an interest in other real singer/songwriters. I don't rely on AI computer software to create my music because I write it myself. It may not appeal to all but I can honestly say it is my own work. My latest Album "Caught In A Moment" released June 20, 2020 along with new video for "Trying To Breathe" released on June 17, 2020. Checkout the link below. Just a simple singer/song writer here that has a great passion for song writing and really singing my songs. Enjoy spending my time in my studio in the mountains of California where my guitar whales through the night with a string snapping now and then. Spend my summers at my home in the mountains and my winters in southern California. At one time I had a regular gig in San Francisco where the people were actually able to watch me perform my songs and purchase my work. I now love to play at small gatherings. No, I don't need to bring my computer along for it to perform instead of me.

   Love to take my guitar to the beach and sit on the sand and sing to the ocean. Or sit out on my deck and sing to nature. Love to have friends at my home to play or write a song together as we sit out on a warm summer evening.
