In my head, I was hearing the soundtracks of two separate games. One was orchestral and the other had more retro-sounding synths. This riff came into my head and a few hours later, I had this song.

I really didn't know how to "box" this one. I thought it was going to be a really chill track, but it developed differently than I originally intended for it to. For some reason, I think of FTL every time I hear the first 10 seconds.
