This is a composition for the menu screen of the asymmetrical first person multiplayer game The Flock by dutch Indie game-developer Vogelsap. And it's FREE!

"The Flock are twisted things, skeletal humanoids lurking in the deeps of a dead Earth. Now they rise, seeking the solar capsule left by the last humans. Emerging from the shadows in May, teasers for The Flock promise an unusual struggle for survival in an asymmetric multiplayer arena. A handful of players take to the field, and each must battle it out to reach and control the capsule for victory. But there’s a twist. Holding the capsule transforms the player into the Carrier, becoming prey but with a bite of its own. Less agile and weaker than the Flock that chase it, the Carrier can turn the torch-like artefact on assailants to vaporise those in motion. Training the beam on stationary attackers will force them to stay put but leave you vulnerable to Flock not accounted for. Dutch indie Vogelsap promises a tense game of cat and mutant mouse."

My first stab at a full-length album and it's nothing but big-beat. These tracks were created between 2004 and 2007.

Street Wisdom

We are defined by our actions and thoughts, but also by what we don’t do and think. Similarly, silence defines music just as much as sound itself. This relationship between absence and presence that characterizes our life is the philosophical foundation of Two Fold: Part One.These tracks explore duality through simplicity and complexity, organic and synthetic, energetic and calm.

The Schism

First up ist the titletrack „Damals“, remixed by none other than german wonderboy Rampue, who has taken german dancefloors by storm with his epic journeys into emotional, low tempo discohouse. His current effort is no different, clocking in just under 100 bpm, slowly building tension over a pulsating tribal beat and widescreen synths.

This is the first time I am releasing an album as a physical product at the same time as a digital version. The second disc of the double CD set contains 13 additional tracks straight off the vinyl acetates that I composed and created in order to make legit sounding samples for A Color Map of The Sun.

Like always, the album is available in its entirety as a free download via prettylightsmusic.com. For the first time however, I encourage you to purchase a copy of the album. There are two honest reasons for this. The main reason is that as an artist I have always reinvested any success I have directly back into the music, the show and the art that goes along with it. Secondly, this isn't just an album; it is a massive collection of music beyond what is on the CDs that I will continue to put out after the album release. There is an insightful documentary film on the making of this project to be released alongside the launch of the album, as well as a music video for every song. They are all beautiful and uniquely unusual pieces of art.

This "album" is a multi-medium map of my mind and my self. It is personal and honest and I put everything into it. I have stayed on the path of being a completely independent musician and with the help of every supporter and friend, we have transformed a simple idea into a movement, a cultural beacon of light. If you can, I encourage you to purchase a digital or physical copy of A Color Map of the Sun. If not simply support by sharing the music and sharing the idea. If there is any success to be had from this album, it will go back into my rule bending, never ending quest to channel beauty and taste through music and art.
