This was a submission for the Samples From Mars Kawaii Dreams competition. All non-percussion samples are from the Kawaii Dreams instrument/sample pack. I lost.

Waki

This is my track for the Samples from Mars Kawaii Dreams sample pack contest! The song was inspired by one of my favorite shorts stories from 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘴  by Ray Bradbury called 𝘈𝘶𝘨𝘶𝘴𝘵 1999: 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘌𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘩 𝘔𝘦𝘯 about the 2nd expedition to mars!

Track synths and non-drum instruments all produced with the one n' only #KAWAIIDREAMSFROMMARS library. Drum sounds could've also easily been achieved with another #SAMPLESFROMMARS library, unfortunately, at the time of production ((1983) just kidding) this was logistically impossible.

Picking Up Sounds

This track was made as part of an "Iron Chef Challenge" hosted by @Rumkraft.
Iron Chef was originally a Japanese cooking show, where chefs were presented with a surprise ingredient, and had a limited amount of time to prepare a dish centred around that ingredient. This track was composed under a set of similar creative restrictions: 

 - The producer was only allowed to use a limited selection of samples.  This week though, everything was allowed for drums.

 - The sample(s) were released to everyone at the same time. 

 - Each producer had 3 hours from start to finish.

This track was produced and arranged in Ableton Live 11 Suite using mostly native effects with the exception of Valhalla Shimmer, Slate Fresh Air, Devious Machines Duck, Izotope Trash 2 and Izotope Ozone Elements.
