FOURTEEN97 has been working hard in the studio for some time now, having released on the likes of @techno-bible and our pals over at @grooved-selects-uk , whilst also releasing a stack of free download edits out on his Soundcloud! With all of this to show for himself, it was a no brainier for us when we heard yet another fire edit from the man🔥

Many have tried to recreate this classic, but not many have been as successful as FOURTEEN97 in doing so. Skippy percussion and delicate synth work combine perfectly with the driving bassline that captures the body of the original, with a 2022 spin📀

This one is for people who like the real disco tools. For dudes who love the style of DJ Harvey, Prins Thomas or Todd Terje. For DJ's that want the girls to dance.
Toy Tonics lead honcho Black Loops teamed up with italo-spanish DJ Innocent Soul in his Berlin studio. Do we have to introduce Black Loops? Not really: He started his career on Toy Tonics three years ago. Meanwhile did 5 EPs on the label - including his main club hit SEX (that was one of the 50 most sold House tracks on Beatport in 2016). 
Innocent Soul is a young Italian living in Barcelona where he is a quite established kid in the nightlife scene. Vittorio Rinaldi his name. He is resident DJ at Space Music Garden project and resident for the Modular project at City Hall.
Like Black Loops he is not really innocent. At least if it comes to music. He is a huge lover and collector of disco, afro, black, raw and house music vinyl. You can hear the influences in this EP for sure. Rollin’. This EP is a bomb.

GREEN. After other successful VA EP’s (TERRAZA, HORCHATA and BEYOND PAELLA) the Valencia-based label strikes back with 9 tracks that will get everyone in a good vibe and on their feet.

Be ready to explore tracks coming from all four corners of the world. Starting with the French duo Fahy & Sanchez and their track called “Something”, a disco tune with funky electric guitar sounds, perfect for those boogie summer nights. Also from France, Wikett makes his second appearance in theBasement with Jimbo, a pure disco banger with some well-known sampling that probably will ring your bell.

Londoner Donny Rotten shows his best disco side with “Clean Up Duty”, a track with the right upbeat feel and vocals with a speedy-feel to it which makes out of this belter a real dance-floor killer.
Heading to the North American continent we can find Californian DJ and producer At Down delivering a groovy vibe with “What Goes Up, Gets Down”, combining elements of the sound of 80s cosmic disco and modern-day house.

Still on the American continent but now from New York, we have Azuro with “Get Up Larry”, and Pedro Cañas with “Excuse Me”, this time including deeper notes to its tune.
Finally, it is German artist Sam Paradise that makes his attribution to the album with “Working For A Living” serving some melancholic melodies combined with really funky guitar riffs.
We also welcome back our hometown producers Whatever Charles with his track Secrets & Spies and Kostrok with Limbo. Two Valencia originated tracks but two different moods, but both with their own homeboy signatures.
All in all, a compilation album worth listening to with an international feel."
